Donations Needed for Webb City Family After Fire Destroys Home

Bright Futures in Webb City is collecting clothing for the family, they are also collecting donations.
WEBB CITY, MO.--- A father and his two children are needing your help after a fire destroys their home. The fire happened early Saturday morning, the family was alerted by a smoke alarm. It happened at 817 West Broadway in Webb City. The father and son and daughter were able to escape the house without injury, but the home is a total loss. The family did not have renters insurance and they lost everything in the fire. Bright Futures in Webb City is collecting clothing for the family, they are also collecting donations.

"They literally walked out of the house with nothing. So they need everything from socks and shoes to underwear to coats, everything," said Jesse Degonia, Webb City Bright Futures. 

If you would like to donate, you can drop off clothing at the Webb City Junior High School or the Bright Futures House. Below is a list of clothing sizes for the children and father:

Boy - Youth large shirt , pant size 14-16 and shoe size 7 1/2

Girl - Women's medium shirt, pant size 0-3, shoe size 8

Dad - Men's medium shirt, pant 30/32, shoe size 9 1/2
