JAY, OK.--- One person is in custody after a reported shooting. Ed Turlington, 45, is accused of shooting Darrell Philpott, 53, in the leg. The Delaware County sheriff reports Philpott and another man were cutting wood on a property in the Oak Chapel Community. As they were leaving, Turlington blocked them with his truck and accused them of trespassing on his property near the E-370 and S-690 intersection. Authorities say that led to a heated argument with shots fired. Philpott has since been treated and released. Turlington was arrested after being pulled over by the Jay Police Department.
