JOPLIN, MO.--- A teenager will spend the rest of his life in prison for the 2012 murder of a Joplin man. This afternoon, a judge sentenced Daniel Hartman, 18, to life in prison with the possibility of parole. His attorney, Bill Fleischaker, tells us it's likely Hartman will file an appeal with the help of the State Public Defender's Office. Back in January, a jury convicted Hartman of second degree murder and armed criminal action for the July 2012 shooting death of Jacob Wages, 23, of Joplin.
