NEOSHO, MO.--- Crowder College has achieved a goal they have been working on for two years. Their dual credit program is now nationally recognized. This makes Crowder the first community college in Missouri to earn the status. The college was granted the accreditation after reviewing Crowder's quality of programs and courses offered to high school and home school students.
"It validates that we are offering the same course work that we offer here on our campus in our schools. So students have the opportunity to get college credit while they are still in high school through duel credit," said Melissa Smith, Duel Credit Coordinator.
Students who wish to be involved in this program can contact a Crowder College duel credit advisor or click here for more information.
