Coffeyville 105th Annual Inter-State Fair and Rodeo

The fair runs from August 9 to August 17.
COFFEYVILLE, KS--- The fair will run from August 9-17. A new addition to this year's Fair and Rodeo is Cowboy Church, led by rodeo announcer Justin Mckee. Cowboy church will be held Sunday, August 11 at the show arena. Also new is freestyle bullfighting, which will be held during the bull riding on August 13.

For one Welch, OK resident, the Inter-State Fair and Rodeo is all about family. Ryan Rexwinkle, the 2013 President, has never missed the fair in 39 years. "I've got a picture from 1982 and we were at my mom and dad's camper during fair week. My nephews are playing a game at the table, and now my nephews are helping at the fair."

The committee has made improvements to the grounds this year. A pipe fence replaces the arena's wire fence, and the change is mostly for safety. Fun passes, which admit the bearer to each of nine nights of granstand events, are $35 through July 31. On August 1, the price increases to $45. Mailing and convenience charges apply.
