GROVE, OK.--- An independent testing laboratory in Tennessee confirmed the high levels of bacteria in contained DNA from geese. According to authorities, the shoreline is a favorite nesting area for geese and recent heavy rains likely led to geese waste being washed into the water. The swim area at Grand Lake will remain closed until bacteria levels return to a safe range. The swimming area closed on June 3rd.
