CARL JUNCTION, MO.--- The Citizens for a Better Life Board in Carl Junction is donating nearly $6,000 to the Area Agency on Aging. The proceeds will be used to benefit the Carl Junction Senior Center Meal Program. The meal program helps seniors who need temporary help with meal purchases.
"It's gonna be contained for people in our community. This, our building here, and our seniors. So, yeah we're proud of it," said Richard Zaccardelli, Vice President of Citizens for a Better Life Board.
The funds were raised after the Citizens for a Better Life Board chose to dissolve the corporation and transfer physical assets to the city.
