NEOSHO, MO.--- Seniors from the Future Farmers of America at Neosho High School setup more than 20 different stations. The fifth graders went to each station to learn about raising crops, working with animals and that chicken's do not have nuggets. This annual field trip also introduces the kids to the importance of farmers and how much they do everyday to stock our shelves with food.
"Whether you live on a farm or not, you need to know where your food comes from and have an appreciation of the work the farmers put in to provide that for us," said Jennifer Thogmartin, Neosho High School AG Teacher.
There were 28 different stations setup for the kids.
