Brad's Beat: MSSU Student Enters Band Karmin Contest

A Missouri Southern State University student is spending his spring break making a music video in Joplin.
JOPLIN, MO.--- A Missouri Southern State University student is spending his spring break making a music video in Joplin. Lauden Baker is a communications major and shot and edited a music video this week. He's entering a contest put on by the Band Karmin. They asked their fans to produce a viral video. The person with the most hits gets to be in their next music video. Lauden incorporated as much of Joplin in it as he could to make the video memorable.

"The song has a 70's disco feel. I wanted to do cheesy disco spoof, get my family involved, MSSU students involved. Have fun with it," said Lauden Baker, MSSU Future Filmmaker.

The contest ends this Monday. If you would like to see the video and help him increase his views, click here
