JOPLIN, MO.--- A Missouri Southern State University student is reliving some fond memories from before the Joplin tornado. Mollie Sanders is a junior at MSSU and is performing in the play "The Drowsy Chaperone." That is the same play she was in at Joplin High School before it was destroyed. Sanders says it brings back some fond memories of her former school and how sad it was that it was the last production at the old high school.
"Those memories are stil there. That's what's going to propel us forward, so being able to revisit that and come back to the show again has been such a joy," said Mollie Sanders, MSSU Junior.
The play starts at MSSU on March 5th.
