Brad's Beat: MSSU Broadcasting History Display

A new display case has been filled with antique recording devices at Webster Hall.
JOPLIN, MO.--- A bit of Missouri Southern State University history is now on display. A new display case has been filled with antique recording devices at Webster Hall. There are records, beta tapes and even reel to reel film. Many of the archives come from the student television station KGCS. Organizers say we have come a long way with recording devices.

"Today's youngsters are the digital age. They don't know these records aren't frisbees. They're the history of how things have evolved over the years," said Judy Stiles, KGCS-TV General Manager.

You can see the display case inside Webster Hall during regular office hours Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
