NEOSHO, MO.--- A Colorado man is traveling to all 50 states to play a game of chess. He made a stop in Neosho to cross the Show Me State off his list. Paul Convington has wanted to take this trip for most of his life, and he has 33 states left to go.

He and his wife Nell will also take in a lot of sightseeing across the country. He decided to play members from the Joplin and Neosho chess clubs today. He says it's nice to see so much of the country with his queen.

"I turn 65 in March, we decide to go ahead and do this now rather than wait," said Paul Covington, Chess Master.

Paul will mark Arkansas off his list on Saturday. He'll be competing in a tournament in Fayetteville.
