NEOSHO, MO.--- Several anonymous donors are being refered to as "lunch angels." More than 400 Neosho students had their accounts paid in full for overdue lunch bills. The donors paid more than $1,400 to the district. If a student can't afford lunch for the day, they will charge it and it adds up over time. The donors say they were inspired by the Houston man who paid off the over due lunch bills for more than 60 students.
"I'm so happy that someone has a giant heart that is willing to give their money and time to donate money to the community," said Sam Cook, Middle School Student.
The student lunches were paid for every student in the district, from kindergarten to the 12th grade.
