PITTSBURG, KS.--- Jill Campbell and her husband, Jerry, have turned a hobby into a small business. They take glass beer and wine bottles and turn them into art. They can be used for candy dishes, a spoon rest or anything you can think of. The two sell them at the Pittsburg Farmers Market and say it's a nice alternative to the bottles going in the trash.
"It's a wonderful way of taking something that most people are just going to throw away and throw in the trash, or you know, get disposed of and go to the landfill, " said Jerry Friel, Bottle Artist.
You can view the pieces in person every Saturday at the Pittsburg Farmers Market.
