CARTHAGE, MO.--- Lines were forming early this morning for a free dental clinic in Carthage. Herrington Dental was hosting a free dental clinic for low income residents who don't have dental insurance. This is the fourth year for the free service. People started lining up two hours early for the event that started at 8 a.m. Organizers say people often suffer through horrible pain in their teeth, but simply don't go to get help due to the costs involved.
"I have patients that know we are doing this and they have been coming every year. And they just suffer their pain or problem, and get another tooth pulled," said Dr. William Herrington, Provided Fee Clinic.
It's estimated that the clinic will help more than 100 people at this event.
