Brad's Beat: Carthage Art Walk Spotlights Area Writers

An upcoming art show is spotlighting an often overlooked form of art.
CARTHAGE, MO.--- The Carthage Art Walk will focus on 10 area authors. Organizers say it takes artistic talent to make words flow onto the page. The show starts tomorrow and the authors will be set up inside the UMB Bank on the Carthage square to sign their books. Many of the writers say art isn't just created with a paintbrush.

"Writing is an art. You have to be able to see that creativity in your mind in order to spit it out through you or let it flow through your finger tips onto a page," said Pamela Corkle, Writer.

The art walk begins at 6 p.m. tomorrow on the Carthage square.
