Brad Reed Endowment Scholarship

A new scholarship program will help nontraditional students attend Missouri Southern State University.
JOPLIN, MO.--- A new scholarship program will help nontraditional students attend Missouri Southern State University. The Brad Reed Endowment Scholarship is now available at MSSU. It's named after a former student who passed away from cancer and was a nontraditional student.

His father wrote a book called "Truth With Stretch Marks." All profits from the book will help fund the scholarship. The book includes several humorous short stories and is a tribute to his son.

"It's just such a touching way to remember someone and have their memory live on in perpetuity. When you endow the scholarship, it will always be here to help the students," said Joann Graffam, Vice President for MSSU Development.

If you you would like to learn more about the program, you can call the MSSU Foundation at 417-659-4436.
