Bordertown Casino Set to Reopen in 2015

The Eastern Shawnee Tribe officially announces plans to reopen Bordertown Casino in Seneca.
SENECA, MO.--- Bordertown Casino closed two years ago so the tribe could focus on their new casino, Indigo Sky. The tribe's chief says there will be many new features that are being added to the new Bordertown Casino arena. The casino will consist of a western theme and will be filled with more than 600 slot machines. Customers will also experience the largest dance floor in town, as well as a saw dust arena filled with live bulls twice a month.

"It will be good for the area, be good fun. And as I say, totally different from Indigo Sky now, and so people will have a choice of what kind of entertainment they want," said Glenna Wallace, Chief of the Eastern Shawnee Tribe.

A banquet hall will also be added to the Bordertown Casino, which will allow the facility to hold more events. The casino is already in the rebuilding process and is scheduled to be completed by spring 2015.
