NEVADA, MO.--- Leaders with Nevada Parks and Recreation team up with the University of Missouri Extension to offer an after school program called "Cooking Matters for Teens." The course will teach youth how to combine healthy nutrition with fun foods. The classes will take place at the Franklin P. Norman Community Center, and they will start on January 15th and run during the afternoons from 3:45 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Teens must commit to attending four of the six classes, the classes are free.
