Carthage Man Arrested for Sonic Robbery

A Carthage man is arrested for robbing a Sonic customer at gunpoint on Friday.
CARTHAGE, MO -- A Carthage man is arrested for robbing a Sonic customer at gunpoint on Friday. Ace Mohr, 20, of Carthage was taken into custody just after midnight Sunday. Mohr is charged with 2nd Degree Robbery and is being held at the Jasper County Jail on a 15 thousand dollar bond.

The robbery happened around 7:30 Friday morning. Police say the victim was sitting in a car outside the restaurant when Mohr approached and brandished a gun. Officers say Mohr actually got into the front passenger seat of the vehicle and threatened the victim. Mohr then left the area with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured.
