The Carthage Chamber of Commerce celebrates its largest banquet in history.
CARTHAGE, MO--

Around 310 people gathered in the CMC auditorium for the 2014 Black and White Chamber Banquet. The Carthage Chamber and its roots have been round for 82 years, but this is only the 8th or 9th year they've held a banquet. Tonight's event was sold out, with more people than ever turning out to celebrate everything the chamber has achieved this year.

"This is where we take a chance to thank our members and to recognize certain individuals and busisnesses on outstanding things they've done to help the community of Carthage, its a time of celebration and a time to thank our membership," says Chamber President Mark Elliff.

Chamber representatives also presented awards to local businesses, members of the community and teachers.
