Carl Junction Man Sentenced for 2003 Murder

Phillip Dodd currently serving time for robbery is sentenced to life in prison for killing a young woman.
FORSYTH, MO---Phillip Dodd, 41, will serve life in prison with the chance of parole after 30 years, for Second Degree Murder. He was charged with killing Rebecca Sutton, 19, of Hollister. The sentence will run concurrently with a 14 year sentence Dodd is already serving for robbing the Joplin Metro Credit Union.

Sutton went missing in March of 2003 in Taney County and her remains were found 11 months later in a forest near Bradleyville, MO.
