JOPLIN, MO.--- We want to welcome a familiar face to our evening newscast. Philip Mitchell has been a familiar face on KSN for several years. In fact, at age 11 he already knew that he wanted to go into broadcasting.

He participated in a video production class at Kelsey Norman Elementary School. He also won a contest back in 1995 to do the weather with Gary Bandy. Phil says he has some big shoes to fill, but is very excited to take on this new job.

"This is something I've always wanted to do. It's very exciting to be able to do it at KSN, a channel I've watched since I was a little kid," said Philp Mitchell, KSN Main Anchor.

Once again we want to welcome Philip as our new anchor at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. right here on KSN.
