JOPLIN, MO.--- Today is National Cheeseburger Day. Many people in Joplin celebrated by heading to Eagle Drive In. Cook Jeremy Canada says this is a popular spot for local residents, he cooks up an average 80 to 90 burgers a day. He says there are some tricks to making a cheeseburger taste good.
"Don't make it overly complicated. Season every step of the way and just don't mess with it too much. You don't want to flip it once maybe twice. Get the cheese melter and it's good to go," said Jeremy Canada, Eagle Drive In Cook.
The restaurant owners get all their beef from Worden's Meat in Webb City.
