Brad's Beat: Cookie Donation

A local radio disk jockey donates cookies to the Boys and Girls Club and Children's Haven in Joplin.
JOPLIN, MO.--- Radio DJ Bubba Evansco was surprised when he opened his box of Chips Ahoy cookies. The cookies were missing the chocolate chips. He contacted Nabisco and asked for a replacement. He said if they'd like to send any extra cookies along he'd give them to local charities.

The company stepped up and gave him several coupons to buy dozens of replacements. Bubba donated the extra cookies to the Children's Haven in Joplin. He says he was traumatized to see a naked cookie with no chips.

"As far as I'm concerned, this is a work of art. In this case, this cookie was no work of art," said Bubba Evansco, Rabio DJ.

Bubba also plans to donate some of the extra cookies to the Boys and Girls Club in Joplin.
