LAMAR, MO.--- Farmers and landowners of Southwest Missouri are gearing up for the Barton County Soils and Crops Conference. Barton County Soil and Water Conservation District as well as the Barton County Missouri University Extension have been hosting the conference for more than 85 years. The event gives agriculture producers the opportunity to network and hear the latest information and ideas collected from research data.
"New crop, new production methods, new research from the University of Missouri and from our state specialist that will help them in the coming year, maximize on their return on their farming investment," said Kathy MaComber, Barton County Missouri University Extension.
The conference will take place on January 23rd in the Thiebaud Auditorium on 11th Street in Lamar.
