At lease eight of the 29 units damaged are known to be destroyed.
Volunteers will continue to assess basic emergency needs of those affected by this disaster and continue to follow up with them in the days ahead.
A shelter will be established at a local church for tonight and Tuesday night, that location hasn't been announced at this time.
The Independent Living Center at 2639 East 34th Street has allowed space for Red Cross volunteers over the next few days to meet with victims.
