PITTSBURG, KS.--- The Pittsburg Chamber Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2014 Leadership Crawford County Program. Established in 1982, the program is designed to train and develop young professional leaders within the county. It's designed to increase community awareness by learning about business, culture, healthcare and other key aspects of Crawford County. The program involves six weekly meetings.
"If you ask a lot of leaders in our community, they've been through the program and they speak highly of it. That's great if you talk to someone and if you're mildly interested in doing the program, ask about it and I'm betting that you'll find someone who's been through it and they'll highly recommend the program," said Devin Gorman, Pittsburg Chamber Foundation.
Applications are due by January 3rd.
