Hutcheson came into Sunday's final round with a three stroke lead and determined to finish the day in first. He would have to fight off the Men's City Championship winner, Derrick Ashe the entire day. Ashe came as close as one shot but bogeyed the 14th to fall back to two behind. Three birdies, including the 17th and the 18th, came up big for the Hutcheson, who would finish with 212 overall. Chad Walker shot even par in the final round and finishing with 215 overall.
Hutcheson, a Carl Junction native, is one of the tournament's youngest winners, taking the victory at just 20 years of age.
