In a game with big implications for regional tournament seeding and general confidence for the Gorillas, they came up big when it mattered most. Drew Roberts' pull up 10 footer with less than four seconds to play clinched a one point victory against Northeastern State.

The Lady Riverhawks, who already beat the Gorillas in Tahlequah earlier this season, led by as much as eight early and still four with less than three minutes remaining. But behind 16 points from Lizzy Jeronimus, and clutch shooting from Alexa Bordewick and Roberts, Pitt State pulled off yet another comeback win at home.

The Gorillas will be the two seed in the MIAA tournament, squaring off against Lincoln - a team they narrowly edged in both regular season meetings - on Thursday at 6 p.m.

Plus, Pitt State Men, Mizzou-Kansas and other Big 12 scores.
