Joplin, MO -- Entering their second season in the SEC, the Missouri Tigers used Saturday to visit Camp Crowder in Neosho for team-building and leadership training.

Members of the football team participated in military-style combat training, which included jumping from a helicopter. The players say that same style of communication can be used on the football field as well.

Meanwhile in Joplin, the top seed Darian King and unseeded Alexander Sarkissian advanced to the finals of the Freeman Men's Futures tournament.

King won his match over Alex Blumenberg of Brazil 6-3, 6-3. Sunday will mark King's second consecutive year playing in the finals at the Millennium Tennis and Fitness Club.

Sarkissian knocked off the number two seed Daniel Garza 6-1, 2-1 (ret.). Sarkissian says it's his first time reaching a USTA Pro Circuit Final.
