GALENA, KS.--- Galena emergency responders continue to monitor possible sinkholes in town. Galena Police Chief Larry Delmont says they will continue to monitor a sinkhole near the intersection of Lincoln and 6th, across from the high school. The spot was discovered earlier this year, and has been barricaded since. Delmont says the spot has not shown any signs of widening, or any increase in the depth of the depression. However, city workers will continue to monitor it as a precaution.
