Pitt State Offense Features New Faces

Marquise Cushon and Solomon Watkins impress at PSU Spring Game.
For the most part, it was the Gorillas' backup quarterbacks who stole the show Saturday with the majority of the rushing yards, but there were a few other bright spots on offense.

PSU senior running back Solomon Watkins led all running backs averaging 5.7 yards per carry on the red team. Meanwhile, Marquise Cushon, who played on both sides of the ball in 2012, was moved to offense full-time this spring, and he didn't disappoint. The dual sport athlete (track and field) hauled in four catches for 53 yards and picked up 17 yards on his lone carry.

Just imagine how much fun it will be to see both Cushon and leading wide receiver John Brown, who sat out Saturday's spring game, on the field at the same time this fall.
