Wreaths Across America in the Four States

JOPLIN, MO. - Hundreds of thousands of veterans nationwide are remembered today during Wreaths Across America.

Here in the four states the civil air patrol laid wreathes for veterans buried in Mount Hope Cemetery.

The patrol asked for residents to sponsor the wreaths and they ended up with 75.

The annual event is a chance to remember those who gave so much for us.

"And it's definitely a huge honor to come out here to pay just a little tribute to real life super heroes which is our veterans those who are living or who've lost their lives either in battle or since coming home." said Josiah Horn Civil Air Patrol.

Horn adds if there was one word he would use to describe how he felt today, it would be honored.
