Webb City Fire Department raises money for troops overseas

For all of November, the Webb City Fire Department will be raising money and accepting donations to send care packages to soldiers overseas.

To raise money, the fire department is selling limited edition sweatshirts. They cost $25 dollars for small through extra large sizes, and $30 dollars for double x to triple x. The department is also accepting donations, like beef jerky, socks, and gum to send to soldiers.

Doug Moore, Webb City Firefighter: "We always try to do things for our community, we feel it's important to us. And this is just another avenue for us to try to show our appreciation for the troops that are trying to protect us."

The Webb City Fire Department will be selling the shirts and accepting items until November 26th.
