JOPLIN, MO. --- A disaster relief bike ride will be hitting the road once again in a couple of months.

The "MOJO Ride" will trace a route from Moore, Oklahoma back to Joplin. The path stretches 285 miles which riders will cover in three days. Proceeds will benefit housing recovery efforts in Joplin, Moore, and Baxter Springs.

The event follows the "JOMONOLA Ride" last year, which raised $150,000 for Joplin, New Orleans, and Superstorm Sandy victims.

"It's fun. Last year, it was an absolute blast, 10 days on a bicycle. But there's a lot of camaraderie with the other riders and it's for a great cause," says MOJO Rider John Hunter.

The ride kick off on October 22nd.
