Two Pittsburg Men Charged with Felony Theft and Trespassing on Railroad Property

PITTSBURG, KS.--- Terrell Pepper, 32, and Patrick Orender, 45, are charged with felony theft and trespassing on railroad property. Around 8:30 this morning, the Crawford County 911 Center received a call of two males cutting copper wire off railroad utility poles and hauling it away near the intersection of 560 avenue and K7 Highway. Around 8:45, a Crawford County deputy stopped a vehicle matching the description. It contained nearly 200 feet of copper wire along with steel railroad track pieces and components. Bond for both men is set at $3,000 each.
