JEFFERSON CITY - The Show Me State's transportation system will take center stage at a meeting next week, and two southwest Missouri men will help decide the future.
The 21st Century Missouri Transportation System Task Force was created during this year's legislative session. The goal of the committee is to evaluate the current condition of the state's system and funding levels, and make reccomendations to the state legislature. The committee will meet for the sixth time next week in St. Louis, with State Representative Bill Reiboldt of newton county and Rudy Farber of Neosho on the twenty-three member task force. At least two more meetings are planned in the future.
