Thomas Jefferson Students Win Statewide Competition

JOPLIN, MO.--- A group from Thomas Jefferson Independent Day School in Joplin has won a statewide competition. The group came in first place in the Scholar Bowl. The group competed in Columbia, Missouri and were originally tied with a school from Boonville. However Thomas Jefferson students won in overtime in the championship round. This is the eighth state championship for the school in the last 12 years.
