PITTSBURG, KS.--- People in Kansas who receive a tax refund can donate a portion of their refund to support the arts. Individuals will have an "arts checkoff" option on their refund to give money to the Kansas Creative Arts Industries Commission. Donations the KCAIC receives through the program will fund grant programs in Kansas. The industry offers several programs that support artists and organizations across the state. KCAIC has awarded more than $460,000 in grants to art organizations in Kansas.
