QUAPAW, OK.--- Some Quapaw students are giving up their senior trip to help victims of this past weekend's storm. The senior class had raised more than $2,000 to take a group trip to Dallas this Friday. Instead, they're giving the money to the "Quapaw Citizen Relief Fund." The 35 quapaw seniors had held several fundraisers throughout the year to support the effort.

"The majority of people think our younger generation is kind of lost and it's a 'me' generation, 'what can you do for me?' lately. But this group of kids proves they'll do what they need to, to help the community," said Terry Tyree, Quapaw High School Principal.

Not only are the seniors giving up their trip, they'll spend the day working. The students decided to pitch-in and help with cleanup efforts on Friday.
