JOPLIN, MO.--- The 325th performance of "Life in a Jar" was tonight at South Middle School. The play is about Irena Sendlers life. Sendler went against all odds during the Holocaust and rescued over 2,500 children from German ghettos, without being caught. She buried their confidential information in jars so the children could reunite with family after the war. The show has traveled all over the world in the past 15 years.

"Irena Stenler is a role model for young people. She shows us that we can stand up against all odds and, through courage, we can bring about hope and change where we need it," said Megan Felt, Life in a Jar Co-Founder.
