JASPER COUNTY, MO---The incident started just before 10 Friday night at 20th and Central City Road.  Authorities say the driver of a single cab 1999 red Ford F-150 fired a single shot at a Jasper County deputy car, hitting it.  The deputy was not injured.  A pursuit ensued into Galena, where authorities lost the suspect.  They are searching for him at this time.  He's described as a white male, authorities say a female was in the passenger seat.  Officials do not have a plate on the vehicle, but they believe it matches the description of a vehicle from a home invasion in Ottawa County earlier today.  The suspect is considered armed and dangerous, authorities warn residents not to approach him but to contact authorities.  Agents from the Joplin Police Department, Galena Police Department, Cherokee County Sheriff's Office and Kansas Highway Patrol are searching at this hour.
