JOPLIN, MO.--- Rebuild Joplin and Cici's Pizza in Joplin join together to hold a housewarming ceremony for tornado victims. This morning, Theo and Opal Morrison cut the ribbon of their new home near 18th and Iowa. At the ceremony, Cici's Pizza representatives also presented Rebuild Joplin with a $2,000 check to assist with further home building projects.

Rebuild Joplin leaders say donations from community organizations, like Cici's is what makes building homes possible. Opal and her husband rebuilt their new home on the same plot of land as their previous home. The couple were moving into that home on the day the May 2011 tornado hit the city.

"I don't know what we would've done, because we spent our money buying the three houses and the tornado came the day we were moving in. So we didn't know what we were going to do," said Opal Morrison Homeowner.

Cici's Pizza was also destroyed in the storm, it reopened this past February.
