PITTSBURG, KS --- Weather forced one local college to move their holiday event from outside to inside, but the fun was all the same.

PSU had their annual Easter Egg Hunt earlier today.  Local kids got to play games like basketball and bag toss to win eggs and other prizes.  There was an Easter Bunny at PSU to take pictures with kids and families.

One PSU student says the school planned for around 200 kids and this is a good way to bring the community to university.

"We reach out to the community, like a lot of the events PSU has actually brings us closer," PSU Junior Michelle Forbes said.  "And so it's not like were just college kids hanging out in this town, we're actually part of the community."

Forbes says PSU students will have a week long easter egg hunt starting on April 21st.
