Powers Museum to celebrate Carthage's 175 years with walking tour series

CARTHAGE, Mo. - The Powers Museum will receive a grant for almost $2,400 from the Missouri Humanities Council to support the Digital Carthage Project.


It will feature a series of "Walking in the Wards" tours throughout the city starting this summer as part of the city's 175th anniversary. The tour will highlight the city's business industrial and professional history.


The 175th Anniversary of Carthage exhibit will open to the public on March 29th and will be open every Tuesday through Saturday, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., through October.
