PITTSBURG, KS.--- A Pittsburg State organization shows its "Pro Earth" pride today. An event was held on campus to promote sustainability efforts at PSU. Some of these include water bottle refill stations, geothermal heating and cooling, and eco-friendly residence halls. An organization called "Students for Sustainability" are encouraging those who love the earth to get involved.

"We love everybody. It doesn't matter what your political affliction is or your background in education. Just so long as you have a common love for the earth, you can come join us," said Krystal Davis, Students for Sustainability.

The organization feels they are already making a difference by recycling 3,600 pounds of cardboard on campus.
