PITTSBURG, KS.--- Local college students had their resumes handy today for businesses to see. Pittsburg State University hosted its annual Spring Career Day this afternoon. 92 companies and organizations answered questions for students. The PSU director of career services says the businesses came from all around the country, as well as the Four States area. She says this day allows students to get information and get their name out to these companies for future job openings.

"It just gives them a chance to visit with a variety of folks and, obviously, in a very convenient setting. It gets students thinking about their careers and their future," said Mindy Cloninger, PSU Career Services Director.

She says the career day is also an opportunity for the current students to network with alumni who share a common work interest.
