NEOSHO, MO--- The Neosho School District is expecting to have police officers back in their schools within the next few weeks. Superintendent Dan Decker says eventually the police officer will conduct safety trainings at all of the schools. One of the training exercises will include preparing students and school staff if an active shooter is on campus.

"He will actually be able to come in and teach our teachers and our students to-- if something like that happens, how to make sure they're as safe as possible," says Superintendent Dan Decker of the Neosho School District.
