A four state community will be in the dark for a few hours tomorrow morning.

Empire District Electric will interrupt service for numerous residents in Neosho on Sunday.

The first power out will occur from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Then a second from noon until 4 p.m.

The first interruption will impact the west side of Jefferson Street from Spring Street to Patterson Street, and the east side of Jefferson Street from Spring Street to Hickory Street.

Additionally, the north side of Main Street from Wood Street to Jefferson Street, the south side of Spring Street from Wood Street to Jefferson Street, and the Neosho Square.

Then a second interruption Sunday afternoon, includes both the north and south sides of Spring Street from High Street to Coler Street, the west side of High Street from Spring Street to Hickory Street, and the east side of Ripley Street from Spring Street to Hickory Street.

The project is scheduled to be completed in about five months, and additional outages will be required.

Inclement weather could cause the outage to be rescheduled.
